The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within senior living facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of the senior living landscape, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
Responsibilities:
Market Research & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential senior living facilities as target clients through research, networking, and proactive outreach.
Sales Pipeline Management: Develop processes and playbooks to drive sales activities and support maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities within the CRM system.
Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market insights to sales leadership.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within senior living organizations, including administrators, directors of nursing, and other relevant stakeholders.
Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs and challenges of senior living facilities and effectively communicate how Tembo Health's solutions can address their specific requirements.
Presentations: Conduct compelling presentations to showcase the value proposition of Tembo Health to prospective clients.
Proposal Development: Create and deliver tailored proposals that clearly articulate the benefits and ROI of Tembo Health's services.
Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within the senior living market.
Attend Industry Events: Participate in relevant industry conferences and events to network and generate leads.
You’ll be a fit for this role if you possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales with demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably within the healthcare or senior living industry.
Strong understanding of the senior living market, including its challenges, opportunities, and key stakeholders.
Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients through excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and developing dashboards.
Ability to travel as needed, including several industry conferences per year.
Experience selling healthcare services, telehealth, or related technology solutions.
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Located in the New York City area.
